Spiderwort

This is Spiderwort (Tradescantia Virginiana). I have a number of these growing in front of the pond.

Backyard birdhouse

A house wren built a nest inside this birdhouse early this spring. It’s hanging near some American Elder (Sambucus Canadensis) shrubs.

Sand Coreopsis

This is Sand Coreopsis (Coreopsis Lanceolata). I have these growing alongside the pond in between Mountain Mint (Pycnanthemum Tenuifolium) and Sweet Flag (Acorus Calamus).

Blue Flag Iris

A macro view of Blue Flag Iris (Iris Virginica). I have four of these growing in pots that sit in a shallow area of my pond.
